First and foremost, thank you for being part of the journey with us in bringing LoS Retsuden to life! As many of you know, we kicked off our highly anticipated launch recently, and I want to take a moment to share what happened and where we’re headed.

Like every good ninja story, our start wasn’t without its hurdles. With the intention to surprise and create an experience that would catch even the most seasoned shinobi off guard, Żwir aimed to keep the game’s details tightly under wraps. Because of this, however, we skipped a critical step—the beta testing phase.

As a result, when the gates opened, the Hidden Leaf (our game world) had a few more rogue bugs than anticipated. We encountered various issues on the map, making the gameplay feel more like a battle against technical jutsu rather than opponents in the game. Realizing this, we made a tough but necessary call to shift into a beta testing phase.

The good news? Our shinobi team worked diligently to fix most of these bugs in record time. The beta will be active for a few more hours to ensure that everything is in perfect condition for the **true launch on October 11th, 2024 6:00 PM**!

For those of you who had faith in us and jumped in despite the challenges, you have our deepest gratitude. Your feedback and patience have been invaluable—like Kakashi’s sharingan, helping us see every detail and make adjustments where needed. And don’t worry—anyone who purchased points or PACC during the launch will receive them again once we officially relaunch.

We know it wasn’t the smoothest journey, and we sincerely apologize for the rocky start. But every great ninja knows that a mission is only truly successful when the entire team can stand proud of the result. We’re confident that come October 11th, 2024, LoS Retsuden will be the adventure we’ve all been waiting for.

1. Thiss is Zwir speaking - I'm the one responsible for the recent launch mishaps, and I want to take full accountability.

   I would like to address you with a few sincere words about the issues that arose during the launch of LoS Retsuden. I understand that expectations were high, and our server did not meet them as we had hoped. Therefore, I feel obliged to explain what went wrong and what steps we intend to take to fix it.

   The main issue was setting the launch date too early. I was convinced that everything would be ready on time, but along the way, we encountered challenges, such as vBot integration, improving the client’s transparency, and more complex game mechanics, all of which took more time than expected. However, I didn’t want to delay the launch to avoid disappointing you with a later date, which turned out to be a mistake.

   Our priority was to ensure server stability – we focused on avoiding issues like crashes or item duplication. We managed to achieve this, but as a result, we didn’t have enough time to thoroughly test more basic functions like quests, Sagas, NPCs, and map sections. We assumed these elements would work correctly, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case

    

    
   Additionally, we chose not to hold open beta tests because we wanted every player to have an equal start and discover the game world on their own. Although this seemed like an appealing plan, we now realize that it was a mistake. We should have focused on testing with player involvement to catch potential issues before the launch. Therefore, in order to fix the issues, we have decided to roll LoS Retsuden back to the beta testing phase. I understand this might be disappointing, but it’s necessary for the server to meet your expectations.

    

   What’s Next? We’ll be tackling every reported issue and polishing the game to ensure the launch goes smoothly this time. All players who’ve bought points or PACC will receive a full refund before the official start, along with their original balance - so consider this a free trial run, which is live until Tuesday. It’s the perfect opportunity to try out different strategies, explore new possibilities, and give feedback on what’s working (or not!). Consider it a chance to perfect your approach before the true start on October 11th, 2024.

We're excited to announce that the Open Beta for Legends of Shinobi: Retsuden is just around the corner!

Starting between September 23-25, everyone will have the chance to dive in, test the game, and explore different character builds and PvP before the official launch.

Our team is working hard on finalizing some crucial features, and while the website will be updated soon, our main focus right now is delivering the best gameplay experience.
